About Suri Alpaca

The Alpaca is known as the "Gold of the Andes". The Alpaca produces a natural fiber that is incredibly soft, warm and lightweight. Suri Alpacas have a silky fiber that hangs down parallel to the body in long, separate, distinctive pencil locks. Suri Alpacas are rare; the world population is estimated at just over 150,000 animals. The Suri Alpaca Fiber possesses incredible softness and exquisite luster.
